Unemployment rate in Colorado remains relatively stable

According to the latest report from the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment, the state’s unemployment rate has remained relatively stable. As of May 2024, the unemployment rate reached 3.8 percent, a o.1 percent increase from April 2024. Colorado’s unemployment rate has remained below 4 percent since February 2022.

From April to May, the professional and business services sector added about 3,700 jobs. The leisure and hospitality industry added 2,100 jobs and the construction industry added about 1,300 jobs.
