Recently, the Bureau of Labor Statistics released both national and state unemployment and jobs data from March. According to the national employment situation report, the national unemployment rate dropped from 3.6 percent in February to 3.5 percent in March.
Colorado’s March state unemployment rate was 2.8 percent, a 0.1 percent drop from February. Additionally, according to the report, the state added 10,263 jobs with the largest increases coming from the information and government sectors.
